Description
Assortment of 100% sheep's milk from the Mas Casas farm, made in an artisanal way with milk from the own herd fed on its own pastures. The box includes includes a sample of our dairy products:
- 2 liter bottles of fresh pasteurized sheep's milk. It has a preferred consumption duration between 7 and 10 days.
- 8 natural sheep's yoghurts of 210g each. It has a preferred consumption duration of approx. 5 weeks.
- 4 natural sheep's yoghurts with apple jam of 210g each. It has a preferred consumption duration of approx. 5 weeks.
- 2 fresh sheep's cheeses of approx. 160g. each. It has a preferred consumption duration of 5 days.
- 2 jars of sheep's milk chocolate truffles of 100g each. It has a preferred consumption duration of 15 days.
Our flock of Lacaune sheep is fed on own pastures applying regenerative agriculture and holistic animal management. The result is sheep's milk of the highest quality and which provides a greater number of nutrients. Sheep's milk has a smooth taste on the palate and a very creamy texture. These characteristics are particularly appreciated in the kitchen for the preparation of all types of dairy products.
The main advantages of sheep's milk for our health are:
- Moreover digestive than cow's milk due to the high content of triglycerides, which provide a greater energy value than cow's milk.
- Themes nutrients and an 80% more than calcium than cow's and goat's milk, twice as much fat, although lower in saturated fatty acids, i less cholesterol than the rest of the milks.
- It is very rich in iron, so it is ideal for people with anemia problems, and high in vitamin A, essential for strengthening hair, and in vitamin C, to strengthen our immune system.
- It has an anti-inflammatory action and improves blood flow.
All the containers are made of glass and can be returned to our shop-workshop in Bisbal d'Empordà or to our farm in Cruïlles. Products require one cold shipping and are sent in reusable cardboard boxes to their destination THURSDAY and/or FRIDAY only to addresses with a postal code in Catalonia.
