School visits

Educational proposals to get to know a small organic family farm with a flock of sheep,
a few meters from the center of Bisbal d'Empordà!

We propose activities for educational centers and playgrounds according to the educational stage. These are designed to play as a team, learn new content and question reality through contact with nature and respectful treatment of animals.

Visits can last a morning or a day. 

CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
(P3-P5)

  • With the 5 senses on the farm! We will get to know the farm animals: dogs, lambs and chickens. We will recognize sounds and smells, caress them and touch the different textures of the wool.
  • With all 5 senses in the garden! We will discover the vegetable garden through the colors, tastes, sounds, smells and textures of the different vegetables, fruits and flowers.
  • Complementary activity: “Farm products” clue game. We will get to know the different spaces and animals on the farm while working to solve riddles aimed at children aged 3 to 6.

PRIMARY EDUCATION
FIRST CYCLE (1st-3rd)

  • Day by day of a ranch with sheep. We will learn about the daily routines for the care of a flock of dairy sheep. We will identify the parts of the body of the lambs, how they are fed and which products we take advantage of, arousing curiosity.
  • Day by day of a peasant in the vegetable garden. We will recognize vegetables, fruit and flowers grown in the garden according to the season and the tasks necessary for their development. we will value the importance of a healthy diet.
  • Self-knowledge game. Mindfulness activities and/or laughter therapy among sheep to become aware of one's own body, emotions and our relationship with nature, to get closer to emotional balance and promote coexistence.
  • Complementary activity: "Fluffy sheep" clues game. It stimulates spatial orientation (compass, map) and teamwork.

PRIMARY EDUCATION
SECOND CYCLE (4th-6th grade)

  • Health of the planet. Activity to become aware of the importance of animal and plant biodiversity, discovering the flora and fauna around the farm and reflecting on how to act to respect this natural balance.
  • Food health Activity to become aware of the benefits of ecological and local food through a product such as milk, from the care of the fields and animals to its transformation process into dairy products.
  • emotional health Mindfulness activities and/or laughter therapy among sheep to become aware of one's own body, emotions and our relationship with nature, to get closer to emotional balance and promote coexistence.
  • Complementary activity: “The secret of yogurt” clue game. It stimulates spatial orientation (compass, map) and teamwork.
