Lorena García, soprano, born in Vitoria-Gasteiz, studies piano, harmony and counterpoint at the "Jesús Guridi" Conservatory. She moves to Barcelona, where she studies at the Liceu Conservatory of Music with Carmen Bustamante, obtaining the title of Superior Singing Teacher with the highest qualifications. From the hand of the Victorian countertenor Carlos Mena, he began his specialization in the field of early music, later completing higher studies in Historical Cant at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya with Lambert Climent. He is very active as a soloist, both in recitals and in collaboration with groups such as La Capella Reial de Catalunya, Capella Reial de Madrid, Capella Penyaflorida, Il Nobile Diletto, Ensemble Elyma, Les Alysés, Speculum, Magister Petrus, La Gran Chapelle, Ensemble Scandicus, Fundació Bach zum mitsingen, or Ensemble Baroque de Toulouse among others, working with conductors such as Jordi Savall, Juanjo Mena, Enric Garcia Asensio, Oscar Gershenson, Maurici Molina, Albert Recasens, Gabriel Garrido or Michel Brun. She combines her artistic side with that of a researcher, pedagogue and vocal coach, and is a singing teacher at the International Music Course of Vitoria-Gasteiz, at the University and Conservatory of Montpellier, at the Medieval Music Besalú, at the International Courses of Music in Sant Marí (Italy), at the University of the Balearic Islands and the Academy of Choral Conduct of the Basque Country, among others.
Maike Burgdorf, theorba and baroque guitar, born in Seesen (Germany). In 2001 he obtained the Higher Degree in classical guitar and Music Education at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover. He later studied lute and baroque guitar in the same city with Hans-Michael Koch and Axel Wolf (bass continuo), and graduated in 2005. At the same time (2003-2008), he studied in Barcelona at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya with Xavier Díaz Latorre and Mónica Pustilnik (bass continuo), as well as taking historical percussion lessons with Pedro Estevan. He has participated in different master courses with Hopkinson Smith, Eduardo Egüez and Juan Carlos de Mulder, and has received classes from important teachers such as Bruno Cocset, Pedro Memelsdorff, Manfredo Kraemer, Lambert Climent and Andrew Lawrence-King. In addition to performing concerts as a soloist, he collaborates as a continuo player in Germany, France, Spain and Catalonia with relevant groups such as the Barroca Orchestra of Barcelona, the Chamber Orchestra of the Liceu and the Budapest Festival Orchestra. He is also part of several chamber music groups such as Il gesto Armonico or Ensamble Rigaudon in Catalonia and France. In addition to her performing activity, she has also taught in different municipal schools in Hanover and Barcelona and since 2007 she has been a teacher of pulsed string, chamber music and musical language and pedagogy at the Isaac Albéniz Conservatory of Music in Province of Girona.
