Make your own sponge by making a sheep wool felted soap!
After a brief description of the family project, we will begin the experience by visiting the lambs to touch their wool. The activity will continue with an explanation about wool and small demonstrations to learn how it can be worked to have different textures, to finally discover what uses we can give it today.
Next, the workshop will consist of making a wool product, natural and with zero waste: a sponge making wool felted soap that you can take home.
This workshop at the Mas Casas farm in Cruïlles is a way to learn about the properties, benefits and uses of a natural, local and sustainable fiber that needs to be valued.
During the activity, suitable for all ages, you go through different outdoor or closed areas of the farm. The milking parlor and the dairy farm are not open to visitors.
In addition, before or after the visit, if you wish, you can enjoy our leisure space and our products.
