Visit a farm where everything revolves around a sheep!
The guided visit to the Mas Casas farm, located in Cruïlles, offers an immersive experience to get to know the importance of pasture in extensive livestock farming, the respectful care of animals and the value of local products.
The activity begins with a tour of the countryside, where it is explained how we take care of the earth through regenerative agriculture and rotational grazing techniques. You will discover the first 30 cm of the soil, a space rich in microorganisms essential for life on the planet, and you will understand how the grazing of the flock of sheep contributes to combating climate change.
Next, we delve into the world of sheep. You will learn how the herd is cared for while respecting the animals' natural rhythms and you will discover fascinating curiosities about this species. For the most curious, there will be the opportunity to touch a lamb, a particularly endearing experience for the little ones.
The visit ends at the farm shop, where the multiple products made from sheep are displayed: lamb, skins, wool, dairy products and natural cosmetics made with sheep's milk.
The highlight is a delicious tasting of dairy products, ideal for discovering the authentic flavor of the vicinity.
Practical information:
The activity, suitable for all ages, takes place in different spaces, both outdoors and in covered areas of the farm. It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes. Please note that the milking parlor and dairy farm are not accessible to the public.

Pets are not allowed on the farm, except for pit bulls.
